Mrs. Clarkson has been teaching for 24 years in both public and private school settings. Most recently, she has come to Christian Academy after teaching Accelerated Honors English I in public school for eight years. Mrs. Clarkson has a B.A. in English from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Teaching English from USC. Additionally, she is gifted and talented endorsed by the state. Mrs. Clarkson is the recipient of the 2017 Linda Vereen Golden Apple Excellence in teching award for upper School. Mrs. Clarkson is married to a local attorney and has two children. Her son is a recent graduate of USC, and her daughter is a senior at the University of Loyola in Chicago. Mrs. Clarkson’s hobbies are mountain biking, reading, cooking, and traveling. Her family are active members at Wellspring Church in Myrtle Beach.
