Jennifer Baker studied at the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and received her master’s degree in education from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee. She has been teaching since 1999. For 10 years she served in the Middle East with her husband and four children where they shared the love of Jesus, started an engineering business and established an international school. She is originally from Simpsonville, SC but now lives in Pawleys Island. Her desire is to help students understand that after having faith in Jesus Christ they have been created for a special purpose in this life. Receiving a strong education is one main key in discovering and carrying out that God-given purpose. One of her favorite verses is Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
