Shay Godwin

Mr. Godwin was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. He graduated from Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History and with a Master of Arts in Theological studies at Erskine Theological Seminary. He is currently working on his PhD in New Testament studies from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Shay is also the Student Pastor at Grand Strand Baptist church and teaches World Religions at Horry Georgetown Technical College. Shay loves teaching the Bible and sharing the Gospel message to students. He is married to Emily and they have one son, James Michael. The Godwin's are excited to be a part of the mission of God at Christian Academy.
