Caitlin Beidler
Art Teacher

Miss Caitlin Beidler teaches art at Christian Academy.

Miss Beidler completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Richmond, Virginia. She majored in Psychology and Studio Art. During her time at UR, she studied abroad in Belfast, Ireland, where she went to the University of Ulster, an art school in the city. She graduated from UR and then went to work on a youth residential program. She is currently taking a graduate-level class about bullying from Fresno Pacific University.

She moved to Myrtle Beach in 2004 as a professional artist, where she began her art business, Redemption Art. Redemption Art has taken her painting all over the world and in the United States. Her favorite part of painting is doing custom art, live art, art camps, and private art lessons.

After doing art professionally and full-time for approximately 10 years, she began teaching art. She taught for 6 years at a small charter school in Myrtle Beach, and she came to Christian Academy in 2020. Since being at Christian Academy, she received teacher of the year for the 2021-2022 school year.

One of her favorite things to do is travel to Haiti with a non-profit, called Growing Roots, she started with her sister in 2007. She also loves reading, working out, traveling, and learning new things. She is passionate about using her art as a bridge to help others.

One thing she loves about Christian Academy is the flexibility and freedom in the classroom to teach your style.

Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 6:16.
