Anna Meeks

Anna Lauren Meeks Hurd teaches Spanish at Christian Academy. 

Anna Lauren grew up in Myrtle Beach and graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 2008. She attended Clemson University and graduated in May 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish and International Trade and during this time she did two sessions of studying abroad, one in Eucador and one in Spain. She has been teaching spanish in public and private schools since 2012. Anna Lauren worked as an international missionary in 2016 and has lived in / traveled to over 31 countries in the world getting to love others and teach about Jesus. 
Anna Lauren is married to Sean, who helps coach the clay shooting club at CA, and together they have two children, with one on the way! Her daughter Lillian, who is 7 years old, is at Christian Academy, Patrick, who is 1, and a baby due in December.

One thing she loves about CA is the Biblical foundation and prayer surrounding everything. 

One of her favorite verses is Psalm 119:37.
