Rita Williams

Mrs. Rita Williams is one of our kindergarten teachers. She is in her 7th year teaching at Christian Academy.

She attended Emmanuel College and Francis Marion College, where she earned both a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. She has over 35 years of teaching experience in grades 4K through 12th grade, in a wide variety of subject areas.  She is state-certified in the areas of Learning Disabilities and Social Studies.

Rita has been married to her husband, Marty, for 36 years.  They have two daughters who are married and they recently welcomed a granddaughter. After having taught for many years in public school, she especially loves working at Christian Academy where she is able to share about Jesus and teach the Bible.

Her favorite Bible passage is Romans 8:38-39.
