Kelli Sweet

Kelli Sweet is one of Christian Academy's 5th grade teachers.

She was born in South Carolina and went to North Greenville University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career in North Carolina, while her husband went to Southeastern Seminary. Kelli taught for 8 years and received teacher of the year in 2016. After returning to SC, she became certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She worked the last several years at St. James Elementary before coming to Christian Academy.

She and her husband, Nathan, have two children. Jayson (3rd grade) and Danielle (Kindergarten) who will both be attending Christian Academy this year. Kelli and her family attend First Baptist Surfside, where Nathan serves as Lead Pastor.

Kelli enjoys movie nights as a family, spending time on missions, going to the beach, and teaching children. She is most excited to be joining CA for their Academic Excellence in a Christian environment.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10.
