Sarah Blomgren

Miss Sarah Blomgren is Christian Academy's PE teacher and assistant volleyball coach. 
Sarah graduated with a BS in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She got her Master's in clinical exercise physiology from Northumbria University, ENG.

Sarah played indoor and beach volleyball at the University of South Carolina. She then went on to play professional volleyball in England, Finland, Serbia, and Spain. She was a head volleyball coach at Arizona Christian University and assistant beach volleyball coach at Coastal Carolina University. She is a certified personal trainer, received the AVCA 30 under 30 award, and FCA female coach impact award in 2022.   

Coach Sarah is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is studying to become a certified nutrition practitioner. She loves all things holistic health and fitness but likes to indulge in a good donut every once in a while. 

One thing she loves about CA is the tight-knit community and Biblical integration at all grade levels.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 51:17.
