Julia Brooks

Julia is a native of Horry County and a 2015 Coastal Carolina University graduate with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  The major emphasis of her degree focused on Education and Community Learning.  She previously served as the Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Myrtle Beach and as a Kindergarten teacher for its Kindergarten Academy program.  In the 2022-2023 school year, she served as the part-time Music Teacher at CA.  Julia has also taught the 3-4 year old Sunday School class at First United Methodist Church in Conway for 10 years.

Julia loves sports, particularly soccer, and the outdoors in general.  She deems herself blessed to be able to participate in the life of children and strives to be a great positive role model and a disciple of Christ.

Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me.”
