Jill Lang

Mrs. Jill Lang begins her 17th year at Christian Academy with 31 years of teaching experience. 

She previously taught at Forestbrook Elementary and the First Presbyterian Growing Tree. Jill graduated from the University of South Carolina at Coastal Carolina with a BA in Early Childhood Education.  Jill has been involved with Christian Academy since 1997 as a member of the Education Committee, PTF (past vice-president, past treasurer) desk volunteer, and several other areas of blessing.   She taught kindergarten at Christian Academy for 13 years.  Jill is now the reading enrichment teacher for 1st and 2nd grades.  

Jill is married to Jamie Lang and they have two sons.  Jay is a 2009 graduate of Christian Academy where he played basketball and soccer for the Saints.  He graduated from Erskine in 2013 where he played basketball and soccer for the Flying Fleet.  Jay completed his Master’s degree at MUSC in May, 2017.  Jay is married to Ashlee and they have a beautiful new baby girl, Mia James.  Jay and his family live in Myrtle Beach.   Joshua is a 2015 graduate of Christian Academy where he played basketball and soccer for the Saints. Joshua attended Anderson University, transferred to Coastal Carolina University, and graduated in 2019.  Joshua is married to Brittani and they also live in Myrtle Beach.  Jill enjoys cooking, reading, painting, hiking, biking, and boating with her family.

Jill’s favorite verse is “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”  Proverbs 3:5-6
