Virginia Cox

Virginia Cox is one of our kindergarten teachers. She is in her 13th year teaching at Christian Academy.
She attended Francis Marion University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has 25 years of teaching experience in grades K through 4th grade, in a wide variety of subject areas.
Virginia has been married to her husband, Ricky, for 26 years. They have three children. Their son, Caleb, just graduated from CCU in May and will begin seminary studies in Charlotte. Their daughter, Gracyn, is a CA graduate and is now a Sophomore at Clemson University. Their daughter, Linley, is a Junior here at CA.
After having taught at several public schools in her earlier years, she loves being able to incorporate biblical truths into each subject during her days at CA. She enjoys being on the boat with family and friends and loves her church family at Newspring.
Her favorite Bible passage is 2 Timothy 1:7: “God has not given a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.”
